Billing & FAQs

How does the verification of benefits process work?

Before your first visit, we contact your insurance company to check your coverage, co-pays, deductibles, and any visit limits. We then review this with you so you know what to expect.

When am I responsible for payment?

You are responsible for co-pays, deductibles, coinsurance, and any services not covered by your insurance. Payment is due at the time of service unless we’ve made other arrangements.

How do copays and deductibles work?

A copay is a set amount you pay at each visit. A deductible is the total you must pay each year before insurance starts to pay. After that, you may still owe a copay or a percentage of each visit.

Do you offer cash-pay or self-pay options?

Yes. If you do not use insurance or your plan does not cover in-home therapy, we offer self-pay rates. We can also provide a receipt (superbill) you may submit to your insurance.

Will I receive a bill after my visit?

You may receive a bill if your insurance applies charges to your deductible, coinsurance, or denies part of the claim. After we receive the explanation of benefits, we will bill you for any remaining balance.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and online payments. Contact us if you need another option.

Can I use my HSA or FSA for therapy?

In most cases, yes. Medically necessary physical, occupational, and speech therapy is usually an eligible expense. Check with your plan, and we can provide receipts for your records.
