Therapy Frequently Asked Questions

I’m used to gym equipment. Will I still make progress without all that fancy equipment?

Absolutely. While gym machines have their place, functional progress happens through movement patterns relevant to your daily life. We bring portable, high-quality equipment—like resistance bands, weights, and balance tools—and utilize your home environment to ensure you make significant, measurable gains without needing a commercial gym.

Do I need to have a lot of space at home for therapy sessions?

Not at all. We are experts at adapting to any living environment. Whether it's a living room, bedroom, or even a small hallway, we can perform effective assessments and treatments. In fact, practicing in your actual living space helps us tailor exercises to the specific obstacles or furniture you interact with every day.

Is in-home therapy as effective as going to an outpatient clinic?

Research shows that in-home therapy is often more effective for long-term recovery because it focuses on 'real-world' application. You receive 1-on-1 undivided attention from your therapist for the entire session—something rarely found in busy clinics. This leads to higher compliance, better technique, and faster functional results.

How many times a week will the therapist see me?

Your schedule is tailored by your evaluating therapist based on your goals, medical history, and how you respond to treatment. Many clients are seen between 2 and 5 times per week. Most visits last about one hour, giving us enough time to work safely and make meaningful progress each session.

Do I need an order from my doctor?

Yes. An order from your doctor is required for therapy services. If you do not currently have one, we can help you obtain it by coordinating with your provider.
